just sold my last y-rubber a few days ago :(
There are more in italy
Luca from the italian forum has got made replica parts with excelent fitting
For the last ones i payed about 50Euro

www.gilera4t.it/forum/

You may try to get in touch with him in *italian*
Just use Google translate or Deepl

The condeser is not used in all Nordies. Some have it, most don't.
Mine has none and works since years without any problem ;)
If you would like to have it just search electronic parts shops.
Voltage should be about 25 to 30Volts
Take something with thick bolt terminals, no thin wires.
They may be not cheap

Joachim, thanks for reply. I will contact Luca. (There used to be a Luca prominent in the Ducati world, but he moved into car technology. He spoke good english).
I can see that the capacitor and diode is a simple "add on" and I think it must be for the reason I outlined. My biggest confusion was the pidgeon english translation from the original italian.
Actually, I am quite "into" electronics, and have loads of suitable capacitors so will replace this one in due course. Many other niggles and problems to sort first.
Unfortunately I am finding the bike must have been previously owned by a "butcher". Today I put the front wheel spindle in the lathe to remove the belling out of the RHS where he obviously used a big hammer.
Regards, Les.

Les,
If you do contact Luca, I would also be interested in getting a couple of the Y-shaped airbox trunking units.

you may also ask what else he has in his replica parts box.
It's really a lot, but he did not tell us :)

Joachim, interesting to know. I will ask him the question.
I am waiting for another reply quoting total cost including postage both for myself and for Nick.
Regards, Les.

Joachim, I asked Luca, and he signed me up to the Gilera4T forum.
After a bit of a struggle (the nearest I know to Italian is basic Latin from 65-70 years ago), I finally got to the "Vendo" section. If you search there, you will eventually get some idea of what he has. it would take me all day to flog through and list individual Nordwest stuff, but the "Y" manifolds are there clearly visible at Euro 55.
However, I see you are already a member there, so if your italian is better than mine, perhaps you could make a list of his stuff?
Les.
