Hi Scott,
That's a funny looking back tyre :)
As you say its coming along quite nicely. If I've had loose switch on a bar I've put one or two turns of insulation tape around the bar under the clamp, not an engineering solution but simple and it works B)

On some setups the twistgrip and right hand switch assembly has a 'pip' on one side of the clamp which locates in to a hole in the handlebar to prevent turning and sliding. IIRC the Nordwest is like that so other Gileras may use the same system. If the pip has been sheared off you will have to use the 'shimmimg' with tape method as Kano Nordi suggested. Make sure the tape gets the clamps to tighten properly but not prevent free rotation of the twistgrip.

ppp For your information time starts much arlier when there is live broadcast of Japanese or Malaysian MotoGP on the Tv
For young Scott I can see big trouble on the horizon if he forsakes the marital bed to play with bikes at 2 or 3 in the morning and then goes online to tell GeN members about how it is progressing :woohoo:
