Hi Kiwi,
Glad you got it going, I was going to take the rotor cover off mine this weekend to see what numbers were on the ignition pickup in mine :) you save me a job B)

That is outstanding, we have nothing like that in New Zealand, I am so envious. I am off for a little ride on it now just to make sure everything is still alright. Hopefully I will stay clear of the law.

Thanks John, I am overwhelmed by the support I have found on this forum, you folk are awesome. I am about to take the RC for a ride and show the owner (he hasn't even ridden it yet. The bike is as yet unregistered so is not supposed to be ridden on the road, a wee risk I am prepared to take.

Yes I have heard the stories, the owner put a new timing belt on when he got it 5 years ago but it hasn't run on it until now. We are going to get another to be safe. I will get one for the Nordwest at the same time.

The ride went well, no Police but got caught in a lengthy shower of rain I wasn't prepared for. The engine is strong and the handling is superb. The whole bike is so tight and comfortable.

I must say I underestimated it. I want one.

Thanks again and best wishes from New Zealand
