Nice try Kano, but surely you remember I'm a non-drinker (unless you count coffee).

Well folks I am in the province of Taranaki on the west coast of the North Island. I have an awesome view, some great roads, plenty of coffee and a few beers. The best riding is away from my home area and the best of the best is in the South Island. It is worth the visit. This image is the view from my home, I will post some more soon if you are interested.

Kiwi - and a lovely place it is too. Spent many weeks in Stratford, Waitara and Bells Block staying with some people that have the same surname as mine (but we're not blood related). Whilst in Stratford, used to wake up each day to fantastic view of Mt Taranaki (Egmont). I usually hire a bike when I'm there so I can get to Paeroa, Whanganui and somewhere near Auckland (but can't remembet the name) for the racing. Roads are fantastic for a bike as long as they're not doing any roadworks. Forgotten Highways takes some beating and well worth the trip out to the Republic.

That tops any view I could offer, the most we have is a collection of rocks surrounded by sand with a few straggly bushes, no snow topped mountains for us :(
